Beck’s ratings are down 30% since January. And he’s lost 81 advertisers since his infamous charge that Obama was “a racist with a deep-seated hatred for white people.”
Yet Murdoch not only keeps him on the air, but defends him at every turn. Which makes no business sense at all unless you really are running a propaganda channel.
i watched this last night, and i sat here actually laughing and clapping at the same time. that was even better than the chorus jon stewart used as back-up last week.
Every time I see a snippet of Beck, I get freaked about all the people who really think he’s credible about anything, and not just a deranged humanoid version of the Pillsbury dough boy. Just f’n unbelievable. Thank you, Lewis.
