From Huff Po:
WASHINGTON — Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois sealed the Democratic presidential nomination Tuesday, a historic step toward his once-improbable goal of becoming the nation’s first black president. A defeated Hillary Rodham Clinton maneuvered for the vice presidential spot on his fall ticket.
The 24-7 news is a few hours behind the curve tonight, still saying Obama is 9 delegates shy of the nomination. But the blogosphere forges ahead, with Huffington Post pulling no punches and gives Obama 2,128 delegates. The real dilemma for Obama is the “Kibuki theatre” of offering Clinton the VP bone, but only if there’s a guarantee she will not accept it.
The Clinton campaign is saying, well okay, but you can’t pick another woman.
Uh huh.
